After a very long flight, we landed in Munich, Germany Airport where our Bus was waiting for us for
a very long trip to Bern, Switzerland. We stayed a couple of nights in this great old city with lots of
history and beautiful buildings. It this part of Switzerland the German language is the official
language. So, David the muti-lingual of the group used his special skills to confuse everyone including
the people of the town. The two day rest was well received by the group since we were going to start
our long journey thru 5 different countries.
SWITZERLAND /  SUISSE
Our second game was in a small town in the middle of the Swiss Alps about 30 minutes outside
Ascona. This was by far the most beatiful soccer field ever. On one side we had the Alps and on
the other side, a big river coming down from the snow in the mountains. A bit cold and a bit of rain
fell during the game making the weather ideal for the local team. We had a great game with the final
score tied with 2 goals apiece. After the game we all had a few gallons of swiss wine to celebrate
and make new friends. In this part of Switzerland, Italian is the official language, so most of us did't
have any problems communicating
These  pictures where taken in our way to the game in a
town called Brione about 45 minutes outside Ascona.
